At Carlow University, we are committed to ensuring the safety of our students, faculty, and staff. To that end, we have:

• A card access system for our dormitory building that is active 24 hours a day.
• A 24-hour police force on campus.
• A manned police dispatch station located at the main entrance to the residence halls.
• The campus police department located within the residence hall.
• Additional security located in parking lots A & C during evening hours.
• Card access requirements to several campus buildings and labs.
• Crime alert flyers posted on campus to make students aware of any incidents on campus or in the surrounding neighborhood. The alerts include tips for crime prevention.
• A comprehensive public surveillance security system.
• Several comprehensive methods of emergency communication

The Carlow University Police Department maintains logs of all incidents on campus throughout the year and also posts crime statistics on our web site. You are welcome to visit our Police Department and peruse the campus logs.
